So this must be black magic or something. This gadget, the The Airnergy Charger, actually harvests energy from wireless hotspots and converts it to DC power. Plug in your cellphone and charge it. It is said in the video below that it fully charges a Blackberry Bold from 30% in 90 minutes.
It even has an internal battery which charges even when not connecting to your phone.
Next step? Building this technique in to OEM batteries. A self charging cellphone!
